Comments: We had a very large turnout at our last official SVO meet of the season. The nice clear crisp fall day (even if it was a bit on the cool side) made for a very enjoyable time. Steve Kreis had done a fantastic job of setting up all of the courses by himself (which included being out in the woods on Thanksgiving Day checking out control locations. How's that for dedication?) As usual, Mike and Marilee Ball ran a very efficient meet. And with the help of Peck Lee, who got the clue sheets glued onto the maps and into the bags all before the first start, we were able to get everybody out into the woods without any problems. As usual, Julie Keim helped out wherever we needed it, pitching in to keep things flowing smoothly. The dynamic duo of Michelle Wenz and Whitney Rufo once again ran the starts for the entire meet. I tried to do my part at the finish table and once again battled with the complexities of doing "time" math (don't they make a calculator which can easily do that?) Steve, Mike, and Marilee picked up all of the controls and left the place cleaner than we had found it.
