Gifford Pinchot November 24, 2002 course results: White  Yellow  Orange  Green  Red  Meet Director: Marilee and Mike Ball Course setter: Mike and Michelle Wenz (W, Y), Mike and Marilee Ball (O,G,R) Meet Directors Comments: We had a beautiful sunny day for the event at Pinchot. Turnout was excellent and multi-national with runners from Sweden and England. Orienteers from Ohio and the Adirondacks took advantage of our event while visiting in the area. We even had newspaper coverage by the Harrisburg Patriot News, which ran a small article about Orienteering in the Monday paper. Thanks to all of you who took time to talk with the reporter. I'd like to thank all of those who helped make the day a success: Brad Whitmore, Julie Keim, Spencer Downing, Gary Dettinger, Ashley Fry and her friend Amanda. Special thanks to Mike and Michelle Wenz who designed and hung the White and Yellow courses (this despite the fact that Mike was very ill with a respiratory infection). Thanks for all of your help.
