Directions to Meet Sites Mont Alto State Park -- Take highway 30 west out of Gettysburg, past Caledonia State Park. Turn south on highway 997 to Mont Alto. In Mont Alto, turn east on 233 and go about 1 mile to the park. Follow the o-signs. Pine Grove Furnace State Park -- From the north: Take I-81 south to Rt 233. Follow 233 to the park. Follow O-signs. From the east: Take Rt 30 west from Gettysburg to Caledonia. Turn right (north) on Rt 233 and follow to the park. Follow O-signs. King's Gap Environmental Education Center -- From Interstate 81, take Exit 37. At the exit, travel south on Route 233 about 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Pine Road and continue 2.5 miles. The entrance to the center is on the right. Follow O-signs. Hammonds Rocks -- From the north: Take I-81 south to Rt 233. Follow 233 to the park. Follow O-signs. From the east: Take Rt 30 west from Gettysburg to Caledonia. Turn right (north) on Rt 233 and follow to the park. Follow O-signs. Camp Tuckahoe -- Follow US 30 West to the SR 74 (Carlisle Road) interchange. Take SR 74 North approximately 12 miles to the traffic signal at Rossville, junction SR 74 & SR 177. Proceed straight through the intersection on Old York Road (not numbered), approximately 8 miles to Dillsburg. After the school on the left, bear right at the “Y “ intersection and turn left onto East Harrisburg Street. Follow East Harrisburg Street to the second traffic signal, at US 15. Go straight across US 15 onto South Mountain Road (name changes to South Mountain Road after US 15). Follow red & white “Camp Tuckahoe” signs – go approximately ¾ mile to a three-way stop at Campground Road. Turn right onto Campground Road. Continue to follow red & white “Camp Tuckahoe” signs. Go approximately ¼ mile, and take first onto Pine Street. Follow Pine Street, which becomes Tuckahoe Road after the first intersection (Greenhouse Road), approximately 2 miles straight into the parking lot. Gifford Pinchot State Park -- The park is reached from Harrisburg via the Lewisberry Exit (35) of I-83 south then PA 177 south; or by US 15 south to Dillsburg, then to PA 74 south. From York, take PA 74 north or I-83 north. From I-83, take the Newberrytown Exit (32), PA 382 west to PA 177 south. Watch for O-signs. Rocky Ridge County Park -- From Lancaster follow Rt. 30 West to Rt. 24 North (Mt. Zion Rd.). Take Rt. 24 north to top of hill and make a right onto Deininger Rd. Watch for O'-signs. Camp Mack -- From Route 30 in Lancaster, take Rt. 222 North to Ephrata exit. Then follow Rt. 322 West to Brickerville, turn right onto Rt. 501 North and watch for O'-signs. Long's Park -- From Harrisburg and west, travel south on Route 283 and follow Route 30 west. Then take the Harrisburg Pike exit. From York and south, travel east on Route 30 to the Harrisburg Pike exit. Follow O-signs. Lancaster County Central Park -- From the North: Take Rt 30 to Rt 501 south, then ~1 mile to McGovern St. Turn right and then turn left on Duke St. Go about 2 miles through Lancaster City to Chesapeake. Turn right and go 1/4 mile to the park entrance. Follow O-signs. From the South: Go north on Rt 222, cross the Conestoga river, go 1/3 of a mile to Chesapeake, turn right and go 1/4 mile to the park entrance. Follow the O-signs. Elk Neck State Park -- The park is approximately 30 miles southwest of Wilmington, DE and 50 miles northeast of Baltimore, MD. Take Exit 100 off I-95, follow Rt. 272 for 11 miles south, through the town of North East and into the park.
